LIFESTYLE | Hello March

Okay, it's crazy how quickly February flew by. I always forget how short the month of February is to a point that I left this post so last minute and only began working on it late last night..!

It's another fantasy one for me this month - and it's by New York Times bestselling author Laini Taylor - so you know it's going to be good. Strange the Dreamer follows the idea that the dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around. It tells the story of orphan Lazlo Strange who fears he has the wrong dream when really he obsessed with a mystic world. It's not his destiny, but soon an opportunity presents itself and he has the chance to discover more.
Strange the Dreamer will be released on 28th March.

The film I'm most looking forward to this month is Logan. I've always enjoyed the X-men movies but admittedly haven't kept up to date with the most recent few. Wolverine has always been my favourite character, so it'll be nice to revisit his story. Logan looks like it's a lot darker than the other movies and I'm really curious about it's storyline.
Logan is in cinemas now.

I loved, er Love, on Netflix last year, even though on the surface and by the trailer it didn't seem like my kind of series at all. The first season followed unlikely couple Mickey and Gus, two oddball characters with a bunch of their own issues. The series was surprisingly raw and down to earth and, although it was romantic in places, it cut out any unrealistic bullsh*t about dating. So I'm looking forward to the return of the show.
Love season two launches on 10th March.

Of course I'm going to recommend Ed Sheeran's latest offering, ÷. Everyone loves a bit of Ed Sheeran and it feels like it's been forever since he's released a full length album (well, three years). I love Castle On The Hill but I'm not a fan of Shape OF You (although it grows on you!), however I'm more than sure this album is going to be amazing.
÷ will be released on 3rd March.

Actually, there's not a whole lot I'm looking forward to this month, except Secret Cinema (which I've already mentioned) and finally getting to see The Maine live again. However, if you follow me on Snapchat (@ riot-girl), you'll know how enthusiastic I was to discover the existence of an overly corny so-bad-it's-good horror movie, The Gingerdead Man. I'll be watching it tomorrow at last (drunk, no doubt) and I'm actually ridiculously excited. Keep your eyes peeled for a hopefully hilarious running commentary on Twitter..
