As all of you may know, this week I've been a VIB for the first ever Bloggers Fashion Week, which was arranged by the lovely Bloggers Love! Even though BLFW only lasted for three days, I was exhausted by the time I got home late last night. With so much going on, paired with travelling to and fro London daily, it was definitely tiring - but more than worth it.

I've collected too many business cards to count, have chatted to and discovered countless brands and have attended three nights of fashion shows over the last few days so bear with me whilst I type up some proper insight posts regarding the event.

But, in the meantime, I thought it would only be fair to offer you a little sneak peak of what went down, using the form of snapshots! Here are just a few snaps taken throughout the last three days but let me tell you, this doesn't even cover half of it!

On Monday we got the chance to mingle with some great brands, whilst Tuesday brought us some one-on-one talks with some big names in both the blogging and retail industry. Yesterday evening offered us a full on bloggers beauty bar with chances to get our hair, nails, eyebrows and makeup done - and there was even a tanning booth! This was followed by the final few fashion shows which was all very glam and glitzy - a few celebrities even turned up for the event.

But I'll blog about all of this more in detail soon! I have so much to tell you all and have had the opportunity to make friends with some really great bloggers. Finally, I'd just like to say another big thank you to Bloggers Love for arranging such an amazing event and for allowing me to be a part of it!

It's funny - despite regularly blogging about beauty and fashion, I never thought I've been particularly good at 'being a woman'. I never look fashionable, rarely ever experiment with my hair and tend to only experiment with lots and lots of eyeliner. I used to be the type of girl that would always have bare nails, or, even worse, chipped nail varnish. But somewhere along the line that changed and I'm not quite sure when. These days, I tend to have a new colour on my nails almost every week, give or take a few days depending on how chipped they become.

I know. I'm as surprised as you. Maybe being a blogger has really paid off?

Despite the fact that I don't have the healthiest nails in the world - and I know I'm not very neat at painting my nails - I love trying out different shades of nail varnish. This week I'm loving this Nails Inc. shade - Hero Shade - which I picked up for free at the ASOS Christmas Party last Christmas. I really adore this colour and think it's perfect for day to day wear. It's versatile and sophisticated and ideal for this odd weather where its sunny one day and freezing cold the next. It's a few steps away from toned down brown or black winter shades, but the weather isn't quite warm enough for summer hues just yet so in the meantime, this will have to do.

Unfortunately, I have found that this varnish does tend to chip quite easily if you only put one layer on. The first time I wore it, I found most of it had easily rubbed off on the end of my nails by the following day. I redid this colour last night, left it to dry and gave it another coat and so far it seems to be okay!

I find it also compliments these simple midi rings (as blogged about previously!) perfectly too. Very sophisticated and feminine, without being too over the top. It's a beautiful grey/lilac shade and therefore is very versatile. What do you think? What colour nails are you all sporting this week? Let me know!

So after months of seeing over edited Tumblr and Instagram photos of people modelling gorgeous midi rings (and showing off perfectly manicured nails, chipless and all - SO unrealistic...), I finally gave in to the, admittedly quite old now, trend and purchased some for myself.

I'm one of those girls that has really odd sized fingers (bless the poor man that may one day take pity on me and propose, the hunt for the ring that fits me perfectly will not be an easy one) so a lot of the time rings are too big/loose for me (and even sometimes too small). For years now, I've wanted to wear the 'too small' rings elsewhere, further up on my finger, but I guess I never thought it would look right. I always thought it would just look like my ring didn't fit me properly and that I had a fat finger!

Alas, I was not the only one. I found these gorgeous midi rings in Primark recently for only £1.50, so had to buy them. They're so cheap, so even if they do end up flying off mid dance on a night out (which a lot of my rings tend to do), I won't mind so much and can easily replace them.

I've actually been wearing them a lot on their own since a lot of the jewellery I have is actually silver, but once I have a good old root in my jewellery box and find some of my gold rings, I'll be sorted.

As an added bonus, they all fit on my little finger like normal rings and look really cute all stacked together. I really love the slightly bohemian and chic vibe they give off too; not just these ones in particular but the general trend overall. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for some more.

Catch a sneak peak of what these actually look like on when they make an appearance in my 'nails of the week' post soon!
