In terms of adventures, admittedly the past two years are going to be pretty hard to top. 2013 saw me going on a week long epic road trip around the UK to see my favourite band and discover new places, and 2014 brought about visits to some new & uber cool places thanks to more gigs and good looking boys. I'm happy to say I've lived up to my plan to invest in more weekends or mini trips away, even if these have been confined to the UK.

However now that I'm working full time in a job I actually really enjoy and I'm actually in a position to put money aside to save, I think it's about time I stop wishing to go further afield and start actually planning it. Therefore, I thought I'd let you all have a nose of where I'd like to visit this year.

Amsterdam has been on the cards for about five years now - I know, ridiculous isn't it - but since I have holiday to take, my manager has given me some time off in January which will promptly be spent in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Now don't get me wrong, we all know the main things it's popular for, but it's also known for so much more. Amsterdam is extremely cultural and not to mention breathtakingly beautiful. It's home to must-see museums and art galleries and, whatever the weather, a walk (or bike ride!) among the canals is also a must. Although I'll be going for a long weekend as opposed to a full week or so, I think that's exactly enough time I'll need for a mini city break.

Mexico is somewhere that has always fascinated me and somewhere I have always wanted to visit. The stone pyramids for example not only look beautiful but are also rich in history and they alone are something else that fascinate me. Also on my Mexico to-do list includes some of the caverns/swimming holes, beautiful beaches and that creepy doll island. Mexico to me is just something so different from what we are used to in terms of landscape, culture and history. If Mexico isn't on the cards for 2015, then I'll be damned if I don't make a visit possible there at least within the next two years.

I've fallen hook, line and sinker for music festivals within the last year or so, having attended Warped Tour, Slam Dunk, Hit The Deck and Camden Rocks. I almost cried when it came to removing those wristbands. Warped Tour was my first ever proper music festival and for my first time, I was beyond lucky with the memories created that weekend. However, I haven't yet gone to a proper camping music festival. Other than Reading, some I have in mind also include Glastonbury, T in the Park and Creamfields, but since Reading had such a good line up last year *cough* Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy *cough*, I'm hoping this will also be a winner this year.

These are the three main things I'm looking forward to in 2015, though of course due to how much I can actually save, there's a chance Mexico might have to be pushed back to 2016 and another holiday take it's place in the mean time. It's been a long time since I've been on a proper holiday. As I hope to be driving at some point next year too, I'll also certainly be going on more day or weekend adventures too!

What are your plans for 2015 - what adventures are you hoping to go on? Let me know!
